I don’t call myself a Healer because I don’t believe anyone can ‘heal’ another person. It’s really a misnomer because we can only heal ourselves. What another person can do is awaken in us our potential and capacity to heal, and support and guide us on the way.
That’s my intention when we work together. I don’t help you create a perfect life, because life is not designed or intended to be perfect We are here to learn and grow. That’s our spiritual intention anyway, even if we are not aware of it. And learning and growing gets messy. When things are not ‘going well’ in our life it means that we are on a new path of learning. It's not a failure. Our focus in the 12-month Conscious Living programme is to see life as a classroom, rather than getting caught up in the circumstances and the details, or what other people are doing. We ask the question…“What is there here for me in this moment in time to understand and maybe look at and approach differently? “ If there are patterns in our life that just keep repeating and repeating and repeating themselves then something must change. There is a saying about the foolishness of continuing to do the same thing and expecting a different result. It’s true…if nothing changes, nothing changes. We focus on making choices that are ‘on the way’, not in the way. Unpacking the limiting beliefs that reinforce our patterns to see how they play out day-to-day, subtly permeating every aspect of our life. Only then can we start to create beliefs more aligned with the direction we want to go, and choices that are on the way. At the same time, we explore and experiment with new daily habits that support the changes we want to make. I think of my daily habits as scaffolding. They lift me up, they support me, they keep me safe, they stop me from falling. In Conscious Living you will find the habits that work for you and build your own scaffold. And it’s not about being perfect. You are not trying to do everything all the time. You do enough, enough of the time to feel healthier and happier in your life, to feel stronger and more resilient, and to be able to make conscious decisions within clear boundaries. Boundaries that allow you to continue to support the things and people in your life but not at the cost of yourself. When that happens it is not about the other person, it’s about the belief that pushes us to behave that way. They may ask but we don’t have to say yes. They ask because they know we WILL say yes, because it’s who we are. What is it that compels us to say yes? This conundrum lies at the heart of our work in Conscious Living. Our habits create our identity…I am a person who does this or that. When we evolve our habits we evolve our identity. When we begin to behave in the way that we want to be seen and the way we want to feel…we then become that person. It’s profoundly simple but challenging because so many of our current habits run contrary to how we want to feel and who we really want to be. The Conscious Living journey is about making your evolution easier.
If you want to evolve your identity you have to evolve your habits. I can help you. The next round of Conscious Living begins on the 18/3/2023. Book a time to talk about the direction in which you want to evolve.
