Rounding
Rounding is a carefully crafted ancient Vedic practice designed to enhance and accelerate the benefits of your regular daily meditation. A specific sequence of gentle yoga asanas, pranayama breathing and meditation releases deep stress, and ensures deep meditation and heightened levels of clarity. Rounding is considered to be one of the most purposeful ways in which to fast track accessing greater states of consciousness and to create your mental and physical health’s pure potential. The Completion of a Vedic Meditation Course is a prerequisite for a Rounding Retreat. An Invitation to a 10 Day Retreat in 2025
A 10 day retreat is a rare offering and opportunity as Vedic Meditators to significantly upgrade our personal state of Consciousness. To take a true ‘time-out’ of the demands of our daily life. A time to reflect outside of our daily commitments on the direction our lives are heading. And to share time with people in community who share that dedication to their personal evolution. In the early years of the 70’s when I first learned meditation the retreats were always Friday night to Sunday afternoon. Later in the 90’s we convinced our teacher, Thom Knowles, to extend them a day to Friday to Monday afternoon. I loved the Rounding Process of the Vedic Retreats and always longed for more. It was not until I did my Initiator Training in 2005 that the longing was satisfied. My only ‘regret’ of becoming a teacher of Vedic Meditation is I now run the retreats rather than participating in them. So now in the echo of that longing I am offering a very rare opportunity for meditators to experience a 10-day immersion in the profound and delightful process of Rounding. A 5 day option is also available. Rounding is a process whereby we can safely, and in a controlled and delightful natural environment, meditate many times a day beyond our twice daily practice at home. This intense practice significantly increases the release of historical stress and without trying to quantify the benefits, a weekend said to be the equivalent of three to four months of twice daily practice, which is why I am so excited to offer you 5 or 10 days. As the host to this Retreat I bring 50 years of meditation practice and approaching 20 years of teaching practice in many countries, and through foreign language barriers, to your support. I have also been a mentor in several Teacher Training programs, and the long rounding aspect of that has become my specialty. With this experience you can be sure that you are in good hands. Catering will be simple and following Ayurvedic principles, and I shall be overseeing the menu. The emphasis will be towards ‘Sattva’, Wholeness and Purity, to enhance the meditation experience. The venue is deep in bushland, and purpose built to dive within, and to seek the divine. I invite you to Come and Join me. A pre-requisite to attending the 10 day retreat is the completion of the Vedic Meditation Course and a regular daily practice.
