This traditional approach to yoga is accessible to everyone and ideally suited for people 50+ yrs. If you have ever thought that yoga wasn't for you, or you weren't meant for yoga, then this class is for you...because yoga really is for 'every' body. 🙂 "In my diary each week I jot down Yoga with Mary. For me her practice is ‘easy’. As a 50+ woman living with life’s aches and pains, both physical and emotional and not attending yoga for 2 years I have found Yoga with Mary a welcome relief for body and soul. It’s not hard, but is surprisingly effective for strength and flexibility. The experience is light, and welcoming without mandalas or trendy décor." Each class includes a series of physical postures (Asana), breath practices (Pranayama) and a 30 minute relaxation meditation (Yoga Nidra) and will help you to feel calmer and stronger in life. You can think of your time on the yoga mat as similar to the time you spent practicing in the car park when learning to drive. Just as you developed the skills needed to stay safe on the roads, through Yoga you learn the skills to navigate life more easily and effectively.
